ISO 9001
REGISTRATION
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July
26, 1999, Roanoke Rapids, NC Patch Rubber Company, a leading
manufacturer of industrial and automotive rubber products, sheet rubber, and adhesives,
has received registration to ISO 9001. Certification under the QMI Registration Program
was awarded in recognition of Patch Rubbers compliance with quality process
standards and effective quality management systems in the design and manufacture of rubber
products.
Conformance to ISO 9001 quality
assurance standards required the implementation of procedural changes, training, increased
documentation, and adjustments to operating systems on every level of the manufacturing
process at Patch Rubbers Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina facility. "Our success
in achieving this goal is due to the tremendous dedication and teamwork of everyone in the

ISO 9000 is a series of
internationally-recognized standards developed by the International Organization of
Standardization which define requirements for the implementation of quality systems in
